Library 101 for Faculty: Embedding & Linking

Who we are and our goals; what we offer to you and your students, and how you can better integrate library services and information literacy into your courses.

Linking Articles from Library Databases to Your Blackboard Class

You can link directly to articles from Library databases to your Blackboard page. This is an easy way to give the students articles to read and also be in compliance with copyright laws. You can also link to materials from the Library catalog.

In many databases, there is a Bookmark, PermaLink, or Link feature that will provide you with a persistent link to a specific article or entry. Don't use the URL in the browser. That is temporary and will not work. Examples below for Ebsco and ProQuest databases.
