Transfer Admission

Transfer Admission:

  • UMGC accepts up to 70 credits from approved two-year schools and community colleges.
  • UMGC offers dual enrollment options so you can take classes at your community college and UMGC at the same time.
  • To enroll in a bachelor's degree program, you must have graduated high school or passed the GED exam. Because we value your professional experience, most of our programs do not require standardized tests like the SAT or ACT.

The application should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

It’s helpful to have the following information handy:

  • A copy of your transcript(s) listing dates of attendance, as well as degree(s) and credits earned
