Open Educational Resources: Library-Licensed Content

Let's make an OpenCCBC!

Library-licensed online content is free to the student and seamlessly accessible through Blackboard login. Contact the library to discuss the licenses, use recommendations, and purchase options for non-open, but library-owned or licensed content. Materials like textbooks and articles may already be part of the library collection or we can investigate new materials not yet part of the collection to replace or supplement your classroom materials. We recommend you use SmartSearch Educational Resources tool in Blackboard to link to library-licensed content for advanced faculty features and copyright compliance.

SmartSearch Educational Resources in Blackboard: Reading list creator

SmartSearch: Educational Resources is a tool in Blackboard for creating and managing course reading lists.  SmartSearch: Educational Resources allows you to build curated reading lists using the library's databases.

The library can help you in utilizing our collection of journal subscriptions, ebooks, and streaming videos.  SmartSearch: Educational Resources streamlines the linking process in Blackboard.
