Musical Arts and Education: MUSC 101

What to search...

It may be hard to know where to start when researching for this project. Just remember these things:

  • eBooks may be your best bet, but you can search trade publications and other sources.
  • Use short key words (i.e. music theory or triads or intervals).
  • Use the Subject headings in the information description of an article to find more related articles.
  • Start outside of the library's databases using Google Scholar you may find it easier to use, and it will tell you what the CCBC library has access to if you are on campus. If you are off campus try searching the article title you found on Google Scholar on the library's website.
  • Go back to your textbook for guidance on what terms to look for.
  • Search inside an eBook for the terms you need to identify.
