Borrowing Materials

All currently enrolled CCBC students must use their valid CCBC OneCard to borrow materials from any CCBC Library. There are two main categories of materials that may be borrowed: Circulating and Reserves. All users below may borrow both Circulating and Reserve materials, but different rules apply.

The following users may borrow books from the CCBC Library:

  • Current CCBC faculty and staff
  • Members of the CCBC Alumni Association
  • Current UMBC and UB undergraduate students, faculty and staff with an ID card valid for the current semester.
  • Current Students and Faculty and Staff from any Maryland community college with a valid College ID card

Community members may use materials while in the building, including models and reserve books. 

Reciprocal Borrowing for Neighboring Universities

CCBC Library has reciprocal borrowing agreements with the following university libraries. Members of the CCBC community can access and borrow from these institutions, and vice versa:
