This project asks students to engage in research about a topic of interest to them. It includes three parts: a research component where you engage in inquiry about a topic; an image component where you can use or create and image to think deeper about a topic; and a genre component where you write to specific audiences about the topic.
After reviewing the learning resources, select a topic that is connected to your major or career path. You will work on this topic for the entire unit. The topic can be related to something that you feel passionate about, that connects to your lived experiences, or connects to topics and issues discussed earlier in the course.
This is a chance to meet with a librarian for 30 to 60 minutes to get individual help with research.
The librarian will talk with you about your assignment, the types of information you need,
the resources you can use, and explain how to use them.
