Chicago Manual of Style Quick Guide

The Chicago Manual of Style is the authority for Chicago (17th ed.) and Turabian (9th ed.) citation and formatting rules. Turabian style is considered an abbreviated version of Chicago style.

There are two systems for Chicago Style, Notes and Bibliography (generally used in the humanities) and Author-Date (generally used for sciences). See the Quick Guide below for more information.
