Guide to events during Open Education Week 2021 - March 1 - 5. Links to webinars, resources, websites, and more!

OE Week 2021 LogoAn annual celebration, Open Education Week (OE Week) is an opportunity for actively sharing and learning about the latest achievements in Open Education worldwide.

Started in 2012 by the Open Education Global as a collaborative, community-built open forum, Open Education Week seeks to raise awareness and highlight open education efforts worldwide. OE Week provides practitioners, educators and students an opportunity to gain a greater understanding of open educational practices and be inspired by the wonderful work being developed by the community around the world.

Open Education Week 2021 will take place March 1 - 5. The CCBC OER/Textbook Affordability Committee will be organizing each day around a particular theme within open education. Each day will feature webinars, resources, websites, videos, and more to encourage infusion of open educational practices into your teaching. We will also feature events for students to learn more about open education and open educational resources. In addition to this exciting week of events, the CCBC Library has guides for both faculty and students on OER and Open Education. Please take a look at them and contact Jamie Witman (jwitman@ccbcmd.edu) with any questions or thoughts you may have.

Follow the tabs for each day above for different webinars, presentations, and events.
