BLS EMPLOYMENT STATISTICS: Here is the most recent version of the BLS Employment Statistics.  Also included is the 1st quarter 2017 statistic report.  Click here to view the report.  The national unemployment rate for March 2017 decreased slightly from 4.7% to 4.5% and the Veteran unemployment numbers for March 2017 remained unchanged at 3.9%.  

911 CENTER ON ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND- CAREER RECRUITMENT:  The 911 Center on Aberdeen Proving Ground is making an effort to place more emphasis on recruitment by reaching out to local universities/colleges, specifically Veterans Representatives and Career Services to help students find employment. They are looking for the following applicants: Veterans/Transitioning Military Members seeking employment, individuals with experience in Emergency Services/Emergency Management, Fire Service (volunteer and/or paid), and Police Services. Applicants would need to possess the ability to multitask.
