Multiculturalism: U.S.: Books

A CCBC Library guide to finding resources about the overall concepts and development of multiculturalism in the United States.

Library Catalog Search Tips

Don't forget to check the Library Catalog for additional books. You will find books available on all 3 CCBC campuses.

In the Catalog you may:

  • Search under a topic by combining single or multiple keywords, for example "multiculturalism"  "diversity" "ethnicity "or "pluralism"can be combined with other concept words and phrases such as: "united states" "immigration" "education" or  "politics".
  • Or search by the title of a book, for example "Building cultural intelligence (CQ) : nine megaskills ".
  • Or by an authors name, for example " Bucher, Richard ".

CCBC Libraries use the Library of Congress Classification system to shelve books. You will need to have the call number to locate books. CCBC call numbers use both letters and numbers together. For example, this is the call number for one book:  LB 2395.C65 1991

Use InterLibrary Loan to borrow from other campuses/libraries.
