This legal research guide has links to the library's legal resources and the legal resources available on the web. Primary law (statutes, regulations and cases) often exist on the web free of charge. However, the best search engines for doing research are the legal search engines Westlaw, LexisNexis Advanced, Lois Law, etc. and these are not free. The CCBC library subscribes to Nexis Uni. Law students can get a LexisNexis Advanced password from their department chair.
